We are a fully funded AI Semiconductor startup headquartered in the bay area that is actively seeking an experienced Compiler Engineer to join the quickly growing engineering team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in compiler development and optimization and excellent working knowledge of LLVM and/or GCC compilers for processors and/or GPUs.
This position is hybrid / remote though candidates much be within driving distance of Santa Clara, CA or Las Vegas, NV
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain compilers and related tools to ensure high performance and scalability
Debug and troubleshoot existing and newly developed tools
Research and analyze compiler technology to identify opportunities for improvement
Utilize optimization techniques to improve code performance
Collaborate with other engineers on various projects
Ensure compliance with company coding and design standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in compiler development and optimization
Experience with internal architecture and design of compilers
Expertise in some/most of these areas: LLVM, GCC, C/C++, GNU/GCC/LLVM Toolchains, debugging, object-oriented design, open source tools, performance regressions, Linux kernel, optimization, etc
