Who you are:
Licensed Electrician
2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
Experience with electrical maintenance
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors
Ability to read blueprints
What you will be doing:
Install main electrical power supply wiring and conduit for equipment as directed by management including, but not limited to, robots, welders, motor control centers, conveyors, air handlers, mixers, presses, hydraulic components, and kilns.
Connect Power Supply wires to machine and equipment and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment per industry standard and electrical codes.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, PLCs, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires/cables.
Calculate proper fuse/circuit breaker configuration if not provided by original equipment supplier.
Use PCs and other interface equipment to program and diagnose PLCs and electronic equipment controls.
Diagnose and replace faulty hydraulic and pneumatic electrical components of machines and equipment.
Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors and position sensing devices. Replace motor bearings and rewire motors.
Test Malfunctions machinery and discuss malfunctions with other maintenance workers.
Ensure all safety policies are always followed, including Life Critical Safety Rules.
Regularly inspect and evaluate electrical and electronic equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely.
Perform Preventative maintenance on equipment and maintains record on equipment status and maintenance.
Study blueprints and schematics to establish the best method of repair or replacement.
Identify and determine material and electrical requirements with part numbers and equipment required.
