The Product Development Financial Analyst/Business Partner will collaborate closely with Product Development leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and enhance business processes. This role involves analyzing spending trends, preparing financial forecasts, and presenting actionable recommendations. Additionally, the position contributes to cross-functional meetings, prepares budget variances, and ensures accurate financial reporting.
Job Duties:
- Act as a lead business partner to Product Development leadership, providing financial outlooks and performance insights.
- Assist in annual financial budget preparations and ongoing financial projections.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted/forecasted figures, identifying savings opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with Product Development to recommend scalable business solutions for planning and budgeting.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams and the accounting department to ensure financial accuracy.
- Create and maintain reporting tools for Product Development analysis.
- Attend Product Development Leadership Team (PDLT) meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of influencing decision-making and driving results.
