Position Overview:
The Lead Superintendent will oversee and lead all aspects of ground-up commercial and multi-family construction projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and experience leading large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Supervise and mentor a team of superintendents and other construction personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time completion.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of construction site and equipment.
- Communicate project updates and progress to upper management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or lead superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Experience with ground-up commercial projects such as condos, offices, K-12 schools, government buildings, airports, labs, and higher education facilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to travel(locally) as needed.
