We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Associate (Banking Attorney) to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, and Corporate Transactions related to Lending and Banking. This position requires a JD or Juris Doctor degree and an understanding of Lender and Borrower relationships, Financial Institutions, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Credit and Acquisition Finance, Arranger, Debt Transactions and other related topics.
The Finance Associate (Banking Attorney) will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing loan agreements and other related contracts; conducting due diligence for asset-based loans, unsecured and secured debt transactions; evaluating acquisition finance, ABS, Loan and other debt financing transactions; and negotiating and drafting contracts and other agreements with banks and other financial institutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
JD or Juris Doctor degree
Extensive experience working with Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, and Corporate Transactions
Understanding of Lender and Borrower relationships, Financial Institutions, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Credit and Acquisition Finance, Arranger, Debt Transactions and other related topics
Ability to draft, negotiate and execute loan agreements and other related contracts
Ability to conduct due diligence for asset-based loans, unsecured and secured debt transactions
Ability to evaluate acquisition finance, ABS, Loan and other debt financing transactions
Ability to negotiate and draft contracts and other agreements with banks and other financial institutions
