Who you are:
At least 1 year of maintenance experience
Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift
Ability to use mechanical/electrical tools, power tools, equipment
What you will be doing:
Use and follow lock-out practices
Keep work area safe, neat and clean
Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
Assist in major equipment repair
Execute work orders and fill out as required. Enter completed task (non-work order) on log sheets
Wear required personal protective equipment for all job tasks
Perform other work as requested by supervisor or manager
Effectively communicate job status to involved parties
Install, clean, repair, replace, assemble and lubricate mechanical equipment such as fans, conveyors, elevators, dock boards, pumps, mechanical doors, compressors, tanks, finishing equipment, tenter frames and ovens
Keep accurate spare part usage; document parts consumed
Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
