Due to our company's continued growth, we are now seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team!

Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial reporting and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

This role will be a leadership position, and thus requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with several different internal departments within the organization, and serve as the lead contact of the accounting, finance and project control teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606.
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Conduct variance analysis and prepare reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience with auditing processes and internal controls
Familiarity with ASC 606 and its application in financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
