Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury and insurance defense cases. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse legal matters and to develop professionally in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
Manage a caseload of personal injury and defense litigation cases
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Attend court appearances and depositions as needed
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the practice
Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active member of the Texas State Bar
3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in personal injury or defense litigation
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
