Civil Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and garnishment cases, and will be responsible for representing clients in various civil matters. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases in a dynamic legal environment, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to garnishments.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Provide clients with legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to manage case loads effectively.

Qualifications

Jurisdiction-licensed attorney with a focus on civil litigation.
Proven experience handling garnishments and related cases.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis is a plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
