We are a growing manufacturing company looking for a dedicated Controls Engineer to join our team! We specialize in integrating packaging equipment and conveying systems into cost-effective and efficient plan designs. Our Engineering team works closely on each piece of equipment to ensure the highest quality and innovative solutions. As a Controls Engineer, will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems for our Conveyor Systems/Automated Machines. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, electrical engineering principles, and hands-on experience with industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing products.
-Create detailed electrical sensor layouts, help with generating electrical schematics for conveyor systems and other machines.
-Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices using Rockwell software.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.
-Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Science in Controls or Electrical Engineering preferred
-3+ year's of experience in a similar or related role
-Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical control systems.
-Proficiency in programming PLCs (Primarily Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMIs.
-Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
-Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
