Position Overview
The EHS Manager will oversee the environmental, health, and safety programs within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe work environment. This role is critical in developing strategies to minimize risks, improve safety performance, and foster a culture of safety across all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, utilizing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training and support to employees regarding EHS practices and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with management to establish EHS goals and metrics, tracking progress and reporting to stakeholders.
• Stay informed on changes in regulations and best practices, adapting policies and training as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a similar role.
• Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis and safety audits.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
