- Review project documentation to generate a detailed takeoff and accurate estimate
- Attend pre-bid job meetings and site surveys when required
-Responsible for constructability review of electrical design, value-engineering, and pre-construction coordination
- Collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, Preconstruction Project Management, Field Operations, and Field Installation teams
- Ensure all estimates are well organized and complete and ready to review before deadline
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual project requirements
- 5+ years experience as an Electrical Preconstruction Manager
- Successful track record of negotiating, managing, and estimating large projects
- Knowledge of estimating techniques and estimating software (Accubid preferred)
- Understand plans and build strong relationships
- Extensive experience in Commercial, Industrial, Mission Critical, Electrical, Low Voltage, Semiconductor, Cabling
