Air Traffic Control Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Project Manager to oversee air traffic control operations and ensure compliance with federal regulations at a project site in Kwajalein. Ability and willingness to travel internationally is required. The PM is responsible for the overall management and coordination of this contract, serving as the central point of contact with the Government for all work performance, including warranty, alongside the Project Director (PD). NOTE: Prior experience working on DOD construction projects $50M or above is required for serious consideration. Employer has domestic and international projects actively underway. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute air traffic control construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with federal agencies and contractors to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience including civil scope
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing air traffic control projects or related federal projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements in construction.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
- Experience working OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) is a plus.
