Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing soil, rock, and other materials to design foundations and earth structures. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and stability of construction projects by assessing geotechnical risks and providing expert solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical investigations to assess soil and rock properties.
Perform materials testing and evaluate construction materials for compliance with specifications.
Design and analyze foundations, including shallow and deep systems.
Evaluate slope stability and propose solutions for earth retention systems such as retaining walls.
Assess seismic risks and provide recommendations for liquefaction and settlement mitigation.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license strongly preferred.
Strong design skills including retaining walls and shallow/deep foundation design.
Knowledge of slope stability evaluations, seismic hazard mitigation, ground improvement techniques, etc.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
