IT Asset Manager

Location: Missoula, MT

We are seeking an IT Asset Manager preferably with expertise in ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) to oversee IT hardware assets. The ideal candidate will configure, track, and automate hardware asset lifecycle processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • - Configure ServiceNow Discovery for IT hardware assets.
  • - Implement asset tagging systems (RFID, barcode).
  • - Manage asset models, procurement workflows, and lifecycle automation.
  • - Apply ITIL principles for asset management.
  • - Utilize ServiceNow Performance Analytics for reporting.
  • - Write SQL queries for data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • - 3-5 years of experience in Hardware Asset Management preferably using ServiceNow HAM.
  • - Knowledge of ITIL best practices and networking basics.
  • - Proficiency in SQL and ServiceNow Performance Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • - Certified as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist - ITAM or hold similar certifications.
  • - Skilled in RFID/barcode asset tagging and tracking technologies.
  • - Knowledgeable in financial asset tracking, audits, and compliance standards (ISO 19770, NIST, etc.).
  • - Experienced in managing software asset management (SAM) alongside hardware asset management.
