Location: Mount Vernon Ohio
Industrial Manufacturing Company
Hourly Range: $26-$35/hr
Open Shift Hours: 6:30PM-4:30AM (Mon-Thurs) or 5AM-5PM / 5PM-5AM (Weekends: Friday-Sunday)

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production efficiency and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to extend the life of equipment.
Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers to measure precision parts.
Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines as needed.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and 3-phase power systems.
Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient in using hand tools and measurement instruments such as micrometers.
Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
