Position Overview
The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various commercial building projects. This role involves collaborating with other engineers and architects to ensure that systems meet project specifications and comply with relevant building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC systems for commercial buildings, ensuring efficiency and compliance with codes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop HVAC plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Perform load calculations and system modeling to optimize HVAC design.
  • Review and analyze project specifications and requirements for HVAC systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports related to HVAC design and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and ASHRAE standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC design, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Familiarity with building codes and ASHRAE standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
