Operations Systems Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operations Systems Engineer with a strong background in systems engineering and experience with PLC and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining operational systems that enhance productivity and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of application development and database management, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust operational systems that support production processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA and PLC systems into existing operations.
Develop and maintain applications using .NET, VB.Net, C#, and VBA.
Create and optimize database queries and tables to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operational systems and applications.
Document system designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Provide technical support and training to operations staff on system usage and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in programming languages including .NET, VB.Net, C#, and VBA.
Strong knowledge of database management and SQL.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
