We are a leading heavy highway/freeway civil contractor in Florida That specializes in top-quality asphalt paving and highway construction projects across the state. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead our Asphalt Paving projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Position Overview
The Party Chief - DOT will lead a team of surveyors in the execution of surveying projects for highway and road construction. This role involves overseeing field operations, ensuring compliance with DOT standards, and providing precise data for effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of surveyors in field operations
Conduct detailed surveys of highways, freeways, and roads
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and standards
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
Coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure project accuracy
Utilize surveying equipment and technologies for data collection
Train and mentor junior survey staff to enhance their skills

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in surveying or related field preferred
Proven experience as a Party Chief or similar role in surveying
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and surveying standards
Proficiency in surveying equipment and software
Experience with highway, freeway, and road construction projects
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
