We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience handling personal injury cases and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence. This role provides the opportunity to take on significant cases, work closely with clients, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement or trial.
Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings and motions.
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Take and defend depositions, including those of clients, witnesses, and experts.
Advocate for clients in court proceedings, including mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Maintain strong client communication, providing guidance and updates throughout the legal process.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Ohio.
Minimum of 3 years of experience handling personal injury cases: Motor Vehicle Accidents, Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice, Work Injuries, Dangerous Drugs/Devices, Dog Bites, Premises Liability, and Defective Products
Strong litigation skills, including experience with depositions, motion practice, and trial advocacy.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work in a team-oriented environment.
