Located in Sleepy Eye, MN - we are a leading producer of high quality food products with locations in MN, IA, IL, NE, SD. We've been in business for 50 years now and are currently seeking a Plant Manager to help run our MN operation on a full time basis!

What you'll be doing:

Ensure consistency and quality in: grinding, batching, pelleting, bin management and load out.
Document and perform product quality control process as specified.
Work closely with Feed Mill Maintenance Manager to develop and enhance standards for maintenance programs on all major pieces of equipment.
Ensure staff follow protocols for maintenance program on all pieces of equipment.
Diagnose and adjust equipment for any feed processing problems.
Ensure quality control by staying current with equipment inspections, cleaning and calibrations.
Manage ingredient inventory to SOP standards.
Work closely with vendors, technical services, accounting, contract producers and government agencies.

Required:

BS in Agriculture, Science, Business or equivalent work experience
5+ years in a management position (bonus points for experience in the food space)
Experience working with machinery
Strong background in Health & Safety
