Job Title: QC Inspector
Location: Anaheim, CA
Hourly Rate: $35 - $50

We are seeking an experienced quality inspector to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone who has experience with CMM programming to join our growing team, if that sounds like you, lets connect.
- Create AS9102 Inspection reports and bubble drawing inspection documents.
- Utilize inspection plans, CMM Arm, engineering drawings, process specifications, and customer documents for in-process inspection of welded, fabricated, and machined assemblies.
- Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate FAI reports.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections, including process audits and area surveillance.
- Perform supplier source inspection when required.
- Experience with fasteners installation and inspection requirements.
- Operate Faro Arm and Laser Tracking inspection equipment using Verisurf programs.
- Present written descriptions of inspection results and deviations from engineering requirements.
- Interact with management, customer Quality Assurance representatives, and regulatory agencies during audits.
- Record accurate descriptions of nonconforming conditions identified during inspection using computer applications.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate the procurement of standard materials, services, and parts for inspections.
- Perform and coordinate calibration activity related to mechanical inspection equipment.
Associates degree, trade school certificate, military training, or equivalent in quality inspections.
- Three or more years of progressive experience in mechanical inspections and calibration.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications, perform mathematical computations.
- Good communication skills to interface with all levels of employees.
- Ability to interpret complex information and respond to a variety of complex issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Good computer skills; experience in Systems Application Products (SAP) is desirable.
- Experience operating Faro Arm and Laser Tracking inspection equipment.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment, including extended hours as required.
- Adaptability to various working conditions.
- Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001, DOE quality assurance program requirements are desirable.
- Operate a Faro and Hexagon CMM.
