We are looking for a Quality Engineer that will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of quality assurance and manufacturing quality systems at the Scottsville Components Plant. Key responsibilities include 1) maintenance of quality systems (Control Plans, FMEA's and work instructions), 2) investigation of customer complaints / submission of appropriate corrective actions / effectiveness audits of corrective actions, 3) Change Point Control management control, 4) control of customer specific requirement, including CQI audits, 5) control of quarantine material, 6) support of calibration systems and 6) support of other projects as assigned.
Basic Position What you will be doing:
What you need:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment is preferred.
Automotive industry experience in injection molding / wire harness is preferred.
Exabit knowledge/skill with quality management systems, corrective action systems (5Why/8D), auditing capabilities, competent computer skills and supervisory capabilities.
