We are a leading manufacturer of process gas compressors and we continue to grow. We are looking to add a dedicated Aftermarket Sales engineer to our team. In this role you will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue with existing customers as well as developing new customers. You will identify new markets, develop and manage sales objectives in support of our Corporate revenue plans. Key Responsibilities:
-Identify target markets, customers and opportunities, and make sales calls and conduct business meetings to win new aftermarket business. Act as the primary liaison between customers and cross functional team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to support our customer's needs. Proactively assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
-Develop long term relationships with new customers, while fostering a stronger relationship with existing clients. Develop total customer satisfaction and customer support. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
-Exhibit the ability to address and resolve customer related issues. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
-Prepare sales reports involving collection and analysis of sales information. Forecast and monitor key account metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. Attend weekly sales meetings.
-Negotiate Purchase Orders and Terms & Conditions.
-Execute sales strategies and business plans for the Aftermarket business to achieve growth. Prepare sales strategy and analysis for region of responsibility. Identify new products and solutions that would help growth and increased sales.
Qualifications:
-B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, etc.) and/or Business or combined education and experience.
-3 - 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development.
-Experience in Oil & Gas, Powergen, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical industries.
-Previous engineering/technical experience with gas compressors or rotating equipment desirable.
-Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as work with in a team atmosphere. Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
-Capable of handling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct guidance and supervision.
-Able to act with a very strong sense of urgency and be self-motivated
-Strong drive for results.
-Ability to work with customers at all levels, including Maintenance, Operators, Engineers, and Management. Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly, present solutions and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
-Able to produce effective reports, forecasts and presentations
-Able to present data to multiple levels of organization to support decision making
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
-Comfortable manipulating data, and using Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
-Fluent in English. Other languages a plus.
