Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead our controls engineering team and drive innovative solutions in robotics automation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in control theory and software development, with a focus on designing and implementing advanced control systems for complex hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of control systems for robotic automation applications.
Apply control theory principles to create efficient algorithms for feedback control and state estimation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control software with hardware systems.
Conduct system identification and modeling for complex dynamic systems.
Develop and implement sensor fusion techniques to enhance system performance.
Utilize C++ and Python for control software development, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on controls engineering best practices.
Test and validate control algorithms in real-world scenarios to ensure robustness and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering, particularly in robotics automation.
Strong knowledge of control theory, feedback control, and system identification.
Proficient in C++ and Python programming; experience in Object Oriented Programming is a plus.
Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) and Linux environments.
Experience in control system modeling and sensor fusion techniques.
