Sheet Metal Foreman

Position Overview
The Sheet Metal Foreman oversees a team of sheet metal workers and is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to specifications. This role requires both technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication and strong leadership skills to manage personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of sheet metal workers and pipefitters.
Plan and schedule work assignments for the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Review project blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to ensure standards are met.
Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and safety protocols.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Foreman in sheet metal fabrication or HVAC industry.
Strong background in mechanical systems and metalwork.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in construction.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
