As a Shop Technician, you are required to perform diversified tasks relating to product assembly. You will be responsible in installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in planning, assembly and testing of materials, components, subassemblies, tools, and electronics.
Apply working knowledge of test procedures and techniques.
Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to equipment as scheduled.
Repair equipment as required.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in a related field of science
3+ years of experience in a technician role, ideally in the Oil and Gas space
Experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
Assembly experience
Advanced understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts
Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
