Job Title: SENIOR OR JUNIOR Staff Engineer - Civil/Structural
Location: Palm Beach or Broward County.
Salary: $70,000 - 105,000 + generous bonus & profit sharing.
Requirements: BS in Civil/Structural Engineering. MS and EIT preferred. 2+ years of increasing engineering experience in seismic analysis and design, as well as experience in preparing plans and detail drawings. Familiarity with AutoCAD and software such as MS Word & Excel, Enercalc, and ETABS or SAP is helpful.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer - Civil/Structural to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring they meet all relevant codes and regulations while delivering high-quality results. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and engineering principles.
Conduct load calculations and structural analysis to ensure safety and reliability of designs.
Utilize design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit to create detailed engineering drawings and plans.
Collaborate with project teams to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
2+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of building codes and civil engineering principles.
Experience with project management and leadership in engineering projects.
Familiarity with geotechnical engineering and construction management practices.
Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
