Position Overview
The Traveling Project Manager will oversee and coordinate commercial disaster restoration projects across the Northeast territory. This role is essential in ensuring efficient project management and the successful mitigation of property damage, including water, fire, mold, and asbestos situations. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in large commercial projects and have the ability to travel frequently to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee commercial disaster restoration projects.
Coordinate with teams on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Conduct site assessments and develop project plans based on client needs and project scope.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project budgets and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Implement property damage mitigation strategies to minimize loss and expedite recovery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial disaster restoration project management.
IICRC Certification.
Prior traveling experience.
Familiarity with Xactimate. (must be able to understand Xactimate, but ability to estimate using Xactimate is not required)
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Travel Requirements

Most common travel schedule is 2 weeks on, 1 week off
Sometimes there will be 6-8 week travel projects
Rare, worst-case travel schedule is 3 months away from home
