Title: Supply Chain Director - MUST HAVE: Food Manufacturing
Location: Conyers, GA - ON SITE
Salary: $160,000-$170,00/Year + 15% Bonus, $500/Month Car Allowance & Relocation
Requirements: 7+ Years of Supply Chain Director experience in a FOOD MANUFACTURING environment. Must have extensive leadership experience with large volume distribution, warehousing and logistics. What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for developing supply chain strategic direction and goals, ensuring alignment with Plant and Corporate Strategic objectives. Responsible for monitoring the adequacy of action plans to meet the plant's objectives, monitoring performance toward achieving key performance indicators, and ensuring alignment throughout the entire organization.
Responsible for managing and developing D365 manufacturing software to ensure integrity of data and the development of informational tools to support operations, materials management, warehousing and accounting.
Manages demand planning and forecasting for production scheduling to ensure an uninterrupted supply of specification products for domestic and international customers and to maximize efficient operations and production.
Responsible for collaborating with our Customer Service department and related functions regarding orders, customer concerns, product requirements and tracking of service levels.
Manages and develops the Warehouse Business Unit to act as a separate entity to the liquid's operation. This includes setting policies and measures to ensure inventory accuracy, expense management, warehouse efficiencies and P&L management
Manages all assigned staff including training and development, performance evaluations, career development and TPM training. Assists in the recruitment and selection of employees adhering to all company policies and objectives.
Audits operational procedures and programs to identify and implement improvements in product availability, storage optimization, receiving and shipping, sanitation, security and inventory accuracy, resulting in increased efficiencies and productivity.
Adheres to food safety, quality and legal compliance. In the event of a crisis (i.e. product recall, fire, etc.) delegate responsibilities as outlined in the Crisis Communications and Management Guide.
Adheres to safety, health and environmental standards of the facility.
Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
What You Need for this Position
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in business administration from an accredited college or university
Experience: 7 to 15 years of relevant work experience
Warehousing concepts and techniques
Inventory planning, manufacturing systems, financial/accounting
Food manufacturing/distribution
Order processing concepts and techniques
Transportation concepts and techniques
Management concepts and techniques
Presentation skills
PC word processing/spreadsheet software
